Psalm 19:7-11

"The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is great reward."
~Psalm 19:7-11

We're going to begin a series of articles on this beautiful passage.  It's important to meditate on God's Word, and that is what we plan to do over the next few posts.  For now, take some time to meditate on these verses yourself. What do they mean?  Allow the truth of God's Word to soak into your heart and change the value you place on the Scriptures.  More to be desired are they than gold!

Pray that the Lord would open our eyes as we study His Word.  Let us seek His face together, knowing that in His presence is fullness of joy and at His right hand are pleasures forevermore.
